Fishing Adventures

Initially you will need to book a flight to San Jose, Costa Rica. Flights to San Jose are numerous and most major airports have a least one or more flights per week. Most flights hub out of Dallas, Houston, or Phoenix so all you really have to do is co-ordinate a flight to one of these airports. The flights to San Jose usually arrive in the evening so we suggest that you stay in overnight. We can recommend a few hotels within 10 minutes of the airport. We will arrange for our driver to pick you up at the hotel and transport you to the luxurious Los Suenos Marriott Ocean & Golf Resort. Your drive will take you through the beautiful rain forests of Costa Rica to the Pacific Ocean approximately 1 ½ hours away.
Once at Los Suenos you have choices on your accommodations as well as your schedule for the next 5 – 7 days. You can fish everyday during your stay or take a day or two off to enjoy the sites and adventures of Costa Rica or play a round of golf along the coastline. Packages vary in price depending on the activities you chose to do during your stay, all packages are required to have a minimum of 3 days fishing.

Overview

This is an opportunity to enjoy some of the best salt water fishing in the world in the comfort and elegance of a custom sport fishing yacht. These trips are designed for 2-6 people and run from December to April and are 5 to 7 days in length depending on how long you would like to spend in paradise.

Weather

This time of the year the weather is pretty predictable. The outside temperature will be 80-90F (27-32C) with 65% humidity and most importantly the wind and water calm. The temperature in the yacht will be 72 degrees around the clock for your enjoyment.
The cockpit has been outfitted with a canopy that shades the entire area so direct sun is never a problem. Water temperatures should be between 68 – 80 degrees depending on ocean depth.

Wardrobe

We recommend that you bring a pair of deck shoes for fishing from the deck, t-shirts for some protection from the sun, and a few pairs of shorts. It actually can be a little cool inside the yacht, while you’re resting your arms, so a bit more clothing is suggested for time spent inside relaxing and it’s nice to clean up and put on a fresh outfit at meal time. Obviously whatever you bring, casual is the operative word. Don't forget sun tan lotion your cameras and lots of film.
